The European Union (EU) has been one of the organizations that has been supporting Sierra Leone in a lot of developmental areas, including infrastructure, governance and institutional development project and economic and trade.

In an interview with Gianpiero Borzillo, Head of Infrastructure Section of the EU in Sierra Leone, disclosed that as energy is part of infrastructure “ the EU is giving a grant to the development of Sierra Leone up to 2.5 million Euros, to help them with a consultancy to set up the agreement for the development of Bumbuna 11.”
