Leone Stars have been thrown out of the race to go through to the next round of 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in the penultimate round of qualifiers in Praia on Saturday.
The team conceded an early goal in the 12th minute of play when Nhuck headed into the net following a defensive blunder.
Central defender Ibrahim Koroma accidentally kicked a ball into his box and goal keeper Solomon Zombo Morris came out of his goal line to punch the ball away but it was Nhuck who first got a contact with the ball and had the advantage to head into the net.
