ATHENS, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) — A rescue operation was underway off the southeastern Aegean Sea island of Karpathos on Sunday to locate the Georgian missing captain of a Sierra Leone-flagged freighter which sank.
The other six crew members of the vessel STELLA -all Georgian nationals according to early information – were saved by Greek Coast Guard.
